Benjamin Jackson

- - Benjamin Jackson, 84, passed away on September 30, 2018 at CareOne at The Highlands, Edison. Born in Valdosta, Georgia, he lived in Colonia. Benjamin was a school teacher in the Woodbridge School System for many years before his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and a member of Ebenezer AME Church in Rahway.

Benjamin is survived by his son Rodney Jackson; brother, Oree Jackson; sister, Vurdie Craddock; former daughter in law, Annalea Jackson and 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM at Ebenezer AME Church, 253 Central Avenue, Rahway. Visiting hours will continue on Friday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the church followed by the funeral service starting at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.

Arrangements are by the Jones Funeral Home, 247 Elm Avenue, Rahway.
