BERNADETTE CIOFFI
AGE: 63 SOMERVILLE
Bernadette Cioffi, 63, died on December 23, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 11, 1946 to her loving parents Mary DeMauro and Dominick Durso. Bernadette was a loving wife, mother, and sister who was devoted to her family. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church; member of ACLF, Nuns Association, and Rosary Altar Society. Bernadette was a kind, caring, generous person, who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Bernadette is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Mario Cioffi of (39) years; her loving children, Christopher and wife Natalia Cioffi of New York City and Marisa Pirerra of Burlington, MA; one (1) brother, Richard Durso of Florida; one (1) sister, Rosanne and husband Louis Fontana of Las Vegas, NV.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869 (908-725-1887). Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 beginning with a visitation from 8:30 to 9:30 am followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Ann's Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869. Bernadette was one of a kind. Compassionate, believed in Angels, caring and a good friend. She and Mario complemented each other.
Truly an Angel among us.
She is missed by all who knew her.

MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I HAVE NOT KNOWN BERNADETTE ALL MY LIFE. THE MOMENT I MET HER I LOVE'D HER IMMEDIATLEY. SHE HAD SO MUCH FAITH, AND THE BEST FRIEND YOU COULD EVER KNOW. SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT. I WILL MISS OUR TALKS VERY MUCH. SHE COULD TALK ON ANY SUBJECT AND WAS VERY INTERESTING.SHE CHOSE A WONDERFUL HUSBAND IN MARIO, AND THEY RAISED TWO BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN. SHE WAS A VERY CARING PERSON AND SHE REALLY WENT OUT IN THE STYLE SHE WAS ACCUSTOMED TO. SHE LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL AND I KNOW SHE WAS PLEASED WITH HERSELF. SHE HAD A BEAUTIFUL MASS AND IF SHE PLANNED HER REPASE IT WAS WHERE SHE WANTED IT TO BE. THAT IS THE TYPE OF PERSON BERNADETTE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU BERNADETTE.
