Carey Ann Winnicki, 38, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at home. She was born in Edison, NJ the daughter of Mildred Ruzich and the late Peter Ruzich. She was a resident of Manville, NJ for the past 7 years and was formerly of Fords, NJ. Carey Ann was a 1992 graduate of Woodbridge High School. She also graduated with an Associate's Degree from Middlesex County College. Carey Ann was a department manager at Lowe's Home Improvements in Hillsborough, NJ for the past 10 years. She was the first female volunteer firefighter for Fords Fire Company, District 7 in Fords, NJ. She was also a volunteer for the St. Johns First Aid Squad also in Fords, NJ. Carey Ann was a loving and devoted wife. She was loved by her family and friends and will be sadly missed. Carey Ann was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ.

She is survived by her loving husband of 6 years, Chris Winnicki of Manville, NJ; her mother, Mildred Ruzich of Fords, NJ; her 2 brothers, Peter Ruzich and his wife Dawn of Bloomsbury, NJ and Kevin Ruzich and his wife Darlene of Ohio and her sister, Nancy Castro and her husband Frank of Edison, NJ. She is also survived by her 5 nephews, 2 nieces, her two dogs, Kaiya and Rocket and her cat, Shadow.

The viewing will be on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Monday, April 7, 2014, 8:15 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Burial will be private.
