Charles N. Ingulli

Monroe Township - CHARLES N. INGULLI (1930 - 2018) died on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 88.

Charlie was born on Staten Island, NY, to Amelia and Ottilio Ingulli.

Mr. Ingulli was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, having served during 1951-1953.

Charlie was a very active man. He worked for SS White Industrial Division located in Manhattan, NY, for 30 years until he developed his own Manufacturing Rep Agency in 1978 and ultimately retired from that position in 1995.

Also during this time he served as a volunteer fireman in his beloved hometown of Spotswood, for 33 years, serving as President from 1980 - 1982. After 33 years in Spotswood he retired and moved to South Carolina, where he served as a volunteer firefighter there for another 8 years.

Charlie coached his son in the Spotswood Little League and continued coaching for many years. During this time, he was elected to the Spotswood Borough Board of Commissioners, serving for many more years.

After residing in Spotswood and South Carolina, Charlie moved himself and his wife back to New Jersey, where he resided in Whiting and most recently in Monroe Township.

Charlie was devoted to his family and will be missed as the patriarch of his family.

He was predeceased by his son, Michael, in 2015.

Surviving are his loving wife of 67 years, Joan Ingulli and three daughters, Patricia Ingulli, Peggy Williams and Janet Mackiewicz. Additionally, Charlie is survived by seven grandchildren, Robyn Avery, Curtis Williams, Gary Mackiewicz, Kim Sparks, Brian Mackiewicz, Christopher Ingulli and Peter Ingulli; five great grandchildren, Logan and Alex Sparks and Maddox, Chase and Brooklyn Williams. He will be sorely missed by all of the above survivors.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 17th, at 12:00 PM at the BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Spotswood Reformed Church Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4-6 PM.
