Charles Kenneth Pollack

AGE: 70 •

Old Bridge and Parlin

Charles Kenneth Pollack, 70, of Old Bridge and Parlin, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 of complications from an acute stroke and pneumonia. A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, July 20th from 11-2 at the South Amboy Elks Lodge, 601 Washington Ave., South Amboy.

Charlie was born in Irvington, NJ, son of Leonard & Della Pollack. He is survived by his brothers, Melvin and Stanley Pollack and his daughters, Deborah Jean Paskovich and Susan Pollack Priester and their families, and his granddaughter, Carissa Paskovich Tucker and her family.

Charlie earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering and an MBA from Rutgers, remaining a passionate fan for the rest of his life. He was an avid card player, achieving Life Master in bridge, and earning seats at regional and state World Tavern Poker League championships.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Friends of the Sayreville Public Library in his memory.

Charlie was a good friend and a great bridge partner to me! We spent countless hours playing bridge and even winning several Tournaments together. Charlie's presence made any bridge team better! We will all miss him.
