To the Metz family, I actually student taught first grade when Ann was a kindergarten student at Burlington Road School, Freehold Township. She was truly loved by everyone and was the best kindergarten teacher. I know she is in heaven helping all the children! My thoughts and prayers are with you at such a sad time...

Mrs. Metz was my favorite teacher from my childhood. She was patient, loving and kind to everyone she encountered, suiting her perfectly for teaching. She made learning fun; everyone should be so blessed as to start off their educational career with a Mrs. Metz. Please know she had one of the most positive influences on my life and fostered my love of reading. I will be forever grateful for my experiences in Mrs. Metz kindergarten. Blessed be.

Annie was my client for many years, I loved visiting her at Seabrook to pick-up or deliver her taxes as she would tell me stories about her Manny being a farmer and she being a teacher. She was a wonderful, kind woman, full of energy and love for her family. May she rest in the sweetest of peace and I hope she is dancing the nights away with her beloved husband. My sympathies go out to all of her family.

I and me sister were lucky enough to start our school years with Mrs. Metz. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to education. Patience, love, and kindness in abundance. My favorite teacher. R.I.P. Mrs. Metz.
