Claudia Morgan Obituary
AGE: 84 •
Claudia Beatrice Morgan (Mom-Mom), 84, passed away at home on Monday, March 28, 2016 surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Claudia was born in West Palm Beach, FL on September 9, 1931, to the late Ansel Sr. and Claudia Jefferies. Claudia moved to New Jersey in her twenties, where she met and married the late Leonard Otis Morgan. Their union resulted in five children. After an in-depth study of the bible, she dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1967. She was employed at Roxanne Swimsuits in Neptune for many years before retiring in 1994.
She is survived by two younger siblings, Ansel Jefferies, FL and Margaret Miller, SC. Left to cherish her memory are her five children Michele (Thomas) Goode with whom she lived, Sharon Morgan, Lorran Morgan, Jeffrey (Ella) Morgan, and Raquel (Ethan) Phillips; grandchildren Janaea Morgan, Tommy Goode, Jacob (Jessica) Morgan, Jazmine (Kenneth) Binns, Morgan Allyse Morgan, Eleanor Mancle, Gamall Hubbard, Gianna Hubbard, Vaughn Mancle, six great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Ely Funeral Home, Neptune. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2900 West Bangs Avenue, Neptune followed by the interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claudia's memory may be made to VNA Healthcare, 176 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07760.
