CONSTANTINA
CAPTAIN KAPETANAKIS
AGE: 95 ASBURY PARK
Constantina Captain Kapetanakis, 95, Asbury Park, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. She was born in Greece in 1913 and arrived in the United States in 1955, to join her husband, Nicholas. She lived in Asbury Park all her life and was a housewife and seamstress. She loved flowers, reading and cooking.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas, in 1977; and her daughter, Vasiliki Betty, in 2002. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Georgia and Takis Bougadis of Athens, Greece; her son and daughter-in-law, Dino and Shirley Kapetanakis of Little Silver; and her daughter, Nathalia Helen of Asbury Park.She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexandra Bougadis of Athens Greece, and Nicholas Kapetanakis of Little Silver. She also has several nieces and nephews here and in Greece.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Avenues, Neptune. The funeral will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9 for an 11 a.m. funeral service at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Asbury Park. Interment will be in St. George Greek Cemetery, Neptune.

Hi Georgia, Thalia & Dino,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of your mother & will cherish the memories of the times we all spent together in Asbury Park so many years ago....Your mom lived a good long life, and she was so proud of all of you, she raised you well. May she rest in peace.
