Darwin E. Rusch

AGE: 76 • Brick

Darwin E. Rusch, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Meridian Sub-Acute Rehab Center, Wall. He was 76. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he resided in East Brunswick before moving to Brick 11 years ago. Prior to retiring in 2005, Mr. Rusch was a VP of Payroll for Merrill Lynch, Hopewell, where he worked for 12 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from 1955 to 1957. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Kendall Park, where he was instrumental in the church Building Project. Mr. Rusch was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Gladysrose M. Taylor Rusch; 2 daughters: Lauralynne Cokeley and her husband Wayne of Hightstown and Karen Stolte and her husband Joel of Toms River; a brother Dale Rusch and his wife Mary Anne of Johnston, South Carolina; and 4 grandchildren: Jason, Erik, Jeremy and Danielle.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Kendall Park. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Friends may call on Friday from 7-9 PM at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. For directions please visit www.brunswickmemorialhome.com
