The Kanach Family,

I still think of Daryl when reflecting on my time at HCHS. Having lost a son recently I know the pain never goes away when we lose a loved too early in life.

Samantha and the entire Kanach family:

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Daryl's sudden death. He was my next door neighbor for 6 years. What stands out most was Daryl's incredible love for Samantha. He adored spending time with her, playing ball in the street, swimming in the Woodbine pool and recounting to neighbors those yearly ski trips to Utah. He was a devoted and loving father. The neighbor kids enjoyed some great years jumping on the trampoline in Daryl's back yard. Many of the neighbors chatted frequently with Daryl as he watered and tended to the impatiens he planted in his front yard each year. All of us on Bonisle Circle are so saddened by his passing and will miss him greatly.
