Dominic Ragucci Obituary
AGE: 97 • Port Reading
Dominic J. Ragucci, 97 of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge.
Born in Connecticut, Dominic was a lifelong resident of Port Reading. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific during World War II; part of the Night Fighter Unit. Dominic was a member of the Carteret VFW Post #2314, Don Bosco Knights of Columbus in Port Reading as well as St. Anthony of Padua Church in Port Reading.
Dominic was predeceased by two spouses, Rose Nardi and Margaret Minucci, sister, Angelina Ciuffreda and brother, Anthony Ragucci. Surviving are three children, Joseph Ragucci and his wife Rose, Rick Ragucci and his wife Debi, Michael Ragucci and his wife Tammy, five grandchildren, Rosalie, Kristin, Jackie, Dana and Mark. Also surviving are six great grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin, Braydon, Jake, Sofia and Noah along with a sister, Mary Ragucci.
Funeral services will begin at 9am on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading followed by a 9:30am mass of resurrection at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Port Reading. Entombment will follow at St. James Mausoleum in Woodbridge.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dominic may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading, NJ 07064.
