Dora Friedman

AGE: 88 • Somerset

Dora Friedman, 88, died October 15, 2014. Dora was born and raised in Wilkes Barre, PA and formerly of Brooklyn and Hillsborough before moving to Somerset in 2010. Dora worked with her husband Jerry at Friedman's Gloves in Brooklyn for over 30 years. She then became a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all.

She is predeceased by her husband Gerald who died in 1997, a grandson David, a brother Sam Herskowitz and a son-in-law Neil. Surviving are her children Helene Fine and her husband Alan and Marilyn Kassan, a brother Sidney Herskowitz and a sister Esther Miller and 3grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11am Sunday at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Fairview, Arrangements by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville. Donations to Alzheimer's Association 400 Morris Ave. Denville, NJ 07834.
