DORIS R. YARD
AGE: 83 THREE BRIDGES
Doris R. Yard, 83, of Three Bridges, NJ, died on Thursday, November 4, 2010, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Three Bridges, NJ, November 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Helen Mundy Dilts. She was a lifelong resident of Three Bridges. She was a graduate of Flemington High School and a member of the Three Bridges Reformed Church. She assisted her husband, Stanley, for many years at Yard's Meat Market, Flemington, NJ.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-one years, Stanley Yard; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Vincent Santonastaso of Hillsborough, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Cynthia Yard of Raritan Township, NJ; a sister, Virginia Dilts of Flemington, NJ; and three grandchildren: Jodi Yard, Jason Yard, and Joel Jukus.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10:30-11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ followed by graveside services at 11:30 AM in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, P.O. Box 96391, Washington DC 20090-6391.
