AGE: 74 •
Deacon Elbert G. "Ed" Bass, Sr., departed this life Fri. July 14, 2017 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Sun, WV he lived in NJ over 50 years. He was employed with the Plainfield Board of Education as a crossing guard.
He is predeceased by his wife Rose Marie Bass and son Elbert G. Bass, Jr.
Surviving are two daughters Dawn Bass (Anthony) and Sharon Lopresti (Brandon); 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; one sister Zona Hampton and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Thurs. 11am in Rose of Sharon Community Church, 825 West Seventh St., Plainfield preceded by viewing at 9am. Interment, Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. Arrangements by Brown's Funeral Home. www.brownsfuneralhome.net.
