Rest in Peace Uncle Elroy. My dad always bragged about how Porter men were men of gold. I always rolled my eyes as a kid, but come to find out how true that really is. You are missed.

I asked uncle Elroy what his secret was, he said it was that he says "good morning" to the east every day when he rises. I then asked if that is why he always has a smile on his face. Without hesitation, he humbly admitted, "Elsie left that there." We will all miss that romantic smile.
