Elsie M. (Koestner) Ohl, 97, died on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Port Orange Nursing and Rehab in Port Orange, Florida.
Born in Elizabeth, Elsie was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield and recently relocated to Port Orange, Florida.
A member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in South Plainfield, she was also a member of the VFW Post 6763 Woman's Auxiliary as well as the South Plainfield Senior Citizens.
Predeceased by her husband who died in 2006, Robert W. Ohl, brother, August and sister, Gertrude Kmosko; surviving are her two children, Susanne Ohl of Asbury; son, Robert W. Ohl and wife Judy of Port Orange, FL. ; brother, Charles Koestner of South Plainfield and two grandchildren, Chrissy and Michael Ohl.
Relatives and friend are invited to attend the funeral services for Elsie on Friday, January 27, 2017 beginning at 10AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church 3145 Park Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
