Ethel Brosen Obituary
Somerville - 90, died December 1, 2019. Ethel was born and raised in Phillipsburg and formerly of Somerville and Bound Brook for many years before moving to Kentucky. She was employed as a supervisor of the county clerk office in Somerville for over 30 years. Ethel was a member of First United Methodist church in Somerville. She was also very active in the Bridgewater Senior Center. In her spare time, Ethel enjoyed shopping with her daughter. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Philip Brosen who passed away in 1995 and two brothers William and Richard Riley.
Surviving are her daughter Carol Drews and her significant other Carl Suk and one grandson Matthew.
Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, 48 W. High Street, Somerville. Interment will follow at Neshanic Cemetery in Hillsborough. Visitation will be 7-9pm Monday at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville. To send condolences to the family, visit www.brucecvanarsdalefuneralhome.com
