EUNICE E. REESE
AGE: 81 MANAHAWKIN
Eunice E. Reese, 81, passed away Monday (Sept. 15, 2008) at Southern Ocean Center in Manahawkin. Born in Westport, Conn., she resided in North Plainfield for 41 years before moving to Manahawkin.
Mrs. Reese graduated from Plainfield High School. She was a former employee of Teppers in Plainfield and the Nancy Taylor Business Institute in Plainfield. She was also a former member of the North Plainfield Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of Eastern Star, Lydia Chapter.
Mrs. Reese was predeceased by her brothers, Leslie Eddy (formerly of Alexandria, Va.) and Walter Eddy (formerly of Somerville).
Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, William E. Reese; her daughters, Marianne McDermott and husband, Charles, of Lanoka Harbor, Sharon Padula and husband, Lenny, of South Plainfield, Bahbi Ronchi and husband, Rick, of Bel Air, Md. and Joan Koelmel and husband, Gordon, of Green Brook; her grandchildren, Kelly Derflinger, Kim Wilcox, Billy Padula, Vinnie Padula, Desiree Woodard, Crystal Ronchi and Anthony Ronchi; her great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Shayne and Emma; and her brother, Stuart Eddy of Hockessin, Del.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, from the South Plainfield James C. Conroy Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, followed by a 10 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Sept. 17, at the funeral home. To send condolences or for directions, please visit www.southplainfieldfuneralhome.com.
