Frances Dahnke Obituary
AGE: 83 • Brick
Frances Melillo Dahnke, 83, of Brick, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Born in Ridgefield Park, to the late Louis & Frances Melillo, she was raised there and has lived in Brick for fifty-five years. Mrs. Dahnke was a skilled seamstress. She was a bowling league member and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rudoph Dahnke; granddaughter, Kathryn "Katy" Ventura, and brother, Carl Melillo. Surviving are her daughter, Frances Dahnke-Ventura and her husband, Louis of Point Pleasant; son, William L. Dahnke of Brick; and granddaughter, Abigail Ventura.
Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m., Friday, June 6 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 3:30 p.m. a service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, donations made in her memory to the Katy Ventura Foundation, c/o 3132 Powhatan Ave., Point Pleasant, NJ 08742 would be appreciated. It deeply saddens me to know that Frances whom I cherished from the time I was a little girl is no longer with us. My heart is broken but I will now cherish the memories we have made. God be with the rest of the family during this difficult time.
