Frank Cambria

AGE: 84 • Somerset

Frank Cambria passed away on Monday evening at St. Peter University Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was 84 years old. Mr. Cambria was born in San Pier Nicetto, Sicily and came to the United States as a teenager. He lived for many years in New Brunswick before moving to Somerset in 1958. Mr. Cambria was a carpenter working for his own business, C&K Builders and later worked for Sisler Brothers. He was a hardworking man who loved his family and was happy to provide for them. He was loyal, dedicated and loved by all who knew him. He was a parishioner of St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Mr. Cambria was the son of the late Nicolina Giorgianni and Francesco Cambria.

He is pre deceased by his wife, Rosaria Fuoco in 2010. He is also pre deceased by a son; Frank Joseph Cambria, his brothers; Pietro and Dominick, a sister Anna, and a son in law; George Perez. Mr. Cambria is survived by his children; Lina Cambria Perez of Union, Ida Cambria Esq. of Califon, John Cambria of Somerset, and Rosalba Cambria of Easton, PA. He is also survived by his sisters; Florence Giorgianni of Las Vegas, Nevada and Carmela Micale of North Brunswick, as well as a brother Nunzio Giorgianni of Margate, Florida. Frank has eleven grandchildren; Jorge Perez, Maria Ridley, Jay Scott Jackson Jr., Mark Cambria, Christopher Jackson, Francesco Cambria, Giovanni Cambria, Nicholas Cambria, Tyler Jackson, Marcello Cambria and Madalena Jackson and a great granddaughter; Isabella Perez.

Funeral services will begin Saturday at 8:00 AM at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. A 8:30 AM Funeral mass will take place at St. Matthias church in Somerset with burial to follow at St. Peter Cemetery in New Brunswick. Friends and relatives may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Friday at the Gleason Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please consider a contribution to the Colon Cancer Alliance of New Jersey noting "Team Perez" in the memo (http://support.ccalliance.org/site/TR/5K/UndyNEW?team_id=36181&pg=team&fr_id=1943)
