FRED INGRAM
FORMERLY OF NEW BRUNSWICK
Fred Ingram, born March 16, 1941 in Douglas, Ga., died Saturday, June 6, 2009, in Charlotte, N.C. Fred moved to New Brunswick in 1962 from Douglas, Ga. and worked for Delco Battery as a machine operator before moving to Charlotte, N.C. in 1997. Fred remained in Charlotte, N.C. until his untimely death on June 6, 2009.
Fred Ingram was predeceased by his wife, Thelma Ingram, in 1993; his father, Thomas Ingram; his mother, Cleother Ingram; four brothers, TJ Ingram, Luke Ingram, Grady Ingram, and Emmanuel Ingram; a sister, Robinelle Roper; and a son, Dexter Ingram. Fred Ingram is survived by six sons, Gregory Ingram of Charlotte, N.C., Tony Ingram of New Brunswick, Philander Ingram of Mathews, N.C., Kenneth Ingram of Raleigh, N.C., Jermaine Ingram of Charlotte, N.C., and Eric Ingram of Jamesburg; three sisters, Millie Mae Robinson and Mattie Graves, both of Douglas, Ga., and Estelle Love of Adel, Ga.; two brothers, Bobby Ingram and Jimmy Ingram of Douglas, Ga.; and an aunt, Mattie Borough of New Jersey. Fred Ingram leaves behind a host of grandchildren and a great-grandson, as well as a host of loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 14 at Young's Baptist Church, Douglas, Ga. Pastor Nelson Turner, officiating.
