Fred Mock

Woodbridge - Fred Mock, 92 of Woodbridge passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Venetian Care and Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy.

Born in New York, Fred lived in Woodbridge for the past 46 years and was a United States Navy Veteran during World War II. Fred was a self-employed engineer and was an extremely passionate ski instructor; holding a 52 year membership in the Professional Ski Instructors of America. An avid golfer, Fred was a member of the Royce Brook Golf Club where he was known as "the legend." Fred was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be sorely missed.

Fred was predeceased by his parents and all of his siblings. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Cheri Mock; children, David, Jason, Nancy and Ricky Mock; grandchildren, Melissa, Veronica, David, Alexandra, Cameron, Luke, Zachary and Donny.

Funeral arrangements are private at the request of the family and are under the direction of GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.

Cheri, so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Condolences to you and your family. I loved skiing with Fred at Ski School, lots of fond memories!

Cheri and the rest of the Mock Family- I am sorry to hear of the passing of Fred. I have many fond and funny memories of Fred and the family from my VVGG Ski School years. He truly was a legend there!
