Fred Strawhand

Sayreville - Fred Strawhand, age 65 of Sayreville passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at his home. Born in Sayreville he was a lifelong borough resident. Fred was the owner and operator of Miklos Florist in Sayreville for the past 16 years. He was an artist and a painter, he enjoyed having pet parrots and he was an amazing father and husband who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Ruth Strawhand and his brother Kenneth Strawhand. Surviving are his beloved wife of 18 years, Svetlana, his loving children Alise and Evan, his cousins Robert Landau and Dorothy Crawford Landau and his niece and nephews Justin, Eve, Jeremiah and Alex.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
