FRED TENORE
AGE: 88 ST. AUGUSTINE, FL
Fred Tenore 88, of St. Augustine, Fla., passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Community Hospice, in Jacksonville, Fla.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union on Tuesday at 8:15 am. The funeral mass will be in Holy Spirit Church in Union at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation is Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mr. Tenore was born and raised in Newark, NJ, and resided in St. Augustine, Fla., for the past 4 years, and was a former resident of Milford Pa. for 29 years. He was a World War II decorated (Bronze Star) veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by the Prudential Insurance Co. in the supply Dept. for over 30 years until his retirement. Son of the late Michele and Concetta (nee Magnotta), husband of the late Phyllis (nee Alfano), and brother to the late Frank, Dominick, Antoinette Larcieri, Jeanette Nostrame, and Marcellina Scurry. He is survived by his wife Josephine, his son Michael and his wife Jane of St. Augustine, Fla.; granddaughters, Michele of Bridgewater, Lisa of Hillsborough, and his grandson Fred and his wife Rebecca of Flemington, and a great granddaughter Angelina; and his brother, Mario of Parsippany, and many nieces and nephews.
