Rest In Peace Mr. Vito! You were one of the best teachers anyone could have. You always made time for your students and made every class with you fun. PLE was my favorite class to go to because of you. You always had a smile and always cheered us up if we were having a rough day. Thank you for making East a great place to go. You cared about every student at East. Mrs. Vito, Mike, Lou and your families are in our thoughts and prayers. An amazing human being will be gone but not forgotten!

Dear Mrs. Vito and Family: Throughout my high school career, Mr. Vito was an important mentor to me. Mr. Vito encouraged me to do things I had no idea I could do, nor would I ever had tried them. Mr. Vito was an integral part of the beginning traditions at TRE and to have been a part in that experience is very special to me. I am honored that Mr. Vito was able to take my wedding photos, my children's first photos and even my son's First Communion photos! Through the years, Mr. Vito always had a big hug and hello for me when I ran into him. His smile, big heart and sense of humor made him a great man. I pray for your comfort and peace for your family's loss. Godspeed Mr. Vito, thank you for all you taught me and may you rest in God's loving arms.

I will always have fond memories of Mr. Vito-having worked closely with him in the Inaugural Days of Toms River East. As our Activities Director and my first instructor of Political & Legal Education in 1980, his wisdom influenced the decisions and direction I would seek as an adult. Mr. Vito, take with you your contagious smile-and keep your camera within reach-you'll want to capture every magical moment! Until we meet again~With fond memories, Mari Dalbora

Dear Mrs. Vito and Family,
Your husband taught both my husband and me at TRHS East back in the 1980s. We remember him fondly and we're so sad to hear of his passing. We wanted you to know that for both of us, he is one of those teachers who will stay in our minds forever. We were fortunate to be exposed to a lot of great educators at East, but Mr. Vito had that extremely rare quality of getting to know all his students on a deeper level, while still maintaining authority and earning (not demanding) students' respect. He was so involved in the life of the school, and always went well above and beyond his job description.
A great teacher and a great man...we hope that in your time of sorrow it will help you to know how highly regarded he was and always will be.
With our condolences,
Ishai and Kim Nir
