Uncle John, my favorite boy cousins, their lovely wives and of course the 3 grandkids--my deepest sympathy on Aunt Gloria's passing. Although our hearts are heavy, rejoice to where she has traveled to and waits for us all. I have many fond memories of Aunt Gloria from family picnics and parties or visiting in Raritan. The time she and my Dad had a water fight at the picnic in our backyard. The way she called Dad "Uncle Pepper" because Scott called him that as a little boy. She could say "Oh John" five different ways and each one meant something else, teasing you, being mad at you, laughing with you, warning you, flirting with you. So many good memories all at happy times. That's the way I'll remember Aunt Gloria and keep her in my heart. "Oh John..."
Love to you all, Mike and Laura.

Dear cousins and John, I am very close to you right now. I have beautiful memories of Gloria .. The first time she came to Italy I was a child, but I remember her as yesterday. For us it was love at first sight! Then I always waited with joy for her to return to Italy, and for a moment, I wanted to be her daughter, and go to Raritan with all of you.
More than 25 years ago, I first came to her house and it was like I had landed on a new planet! She was wonderful at all times, making me feel "at home". Then I came back a second time and seeing all of you was wonderful, but Gloria was like a mom to me.
I have so many memories, and photos and tickets that I have kept, that will never make me forget the exceptional woman she was. We lived far away but our hearts have always been close in love.
I love you.
Silvana.
