Harriet Larkin

AGE: 89 • Sayreville

Harriet Larkin, 89, of Sayreville, passed away Jan. 8, 2014 at St. Peters University Hospital. Harriet was born in Holyoke, MA. She has resided in Sayreville for 60 years. Prior to retirement, Harriet was a legal secretary for the for the law firm Kolodziej and Cohen, Sayreville. Harriet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her husband James and son Timothy, Harriet is survived by her son James Larkin and his wife Lois of South Amboy, her daughter in law, Della Marie Larkin, her brother, William Dunlop and his wife Aileen of Vero Beach Florida, her grandchildren, Angela Bernstein and her husband Edward of Freehold, Thomas Larkin and his companion Margaret Chudyk, Courtney, Ally, Nikky, TJ, and John Larkin all of Barnegat and Brittany Ann Larkin of South Amboy. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Haley and James Bernstein of Freehold and her dear friend, Rita Kolodziej of Sayreville.

Visitation will be today, Friday Jan. 10 from 4-7 PM at Whiteley Funeral Home, 241 Bordentown Ave, South Amboy, NJ. Funeral services will begin at 9 AM Saturday Jan. 11 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.
