AGE: 87 • Iselin
Helen Miller, 87, of Iselin died on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at home.
Born in Newark, she resided in Iselin for 63 years. She was a communicant of St. Cecelia's RC Church in Iselin. Helen was a member of the American Legion Auxilary T. Nulty Post 471 in Iselin. She was an English as a Second Language Teacher for Woodbridge Township Board of Education for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years William B. Miller in 2005.
Surviving are her sons Billy and his wife Lori of Boca Raton FL, Greg and his wife Noreen of Highlands, Gary and his wife Kathy of Edison, Glenn and his fiancé Michele of Colts Neck; her daughters Barbara Regalado and her husband John of Edison, Patty Cohen and her husband Glenn of Edison, Stacy Capua and her husband Tony of Palm Coast FL; grandchildren Jessica, Erin, Tommy, Brian, Gary J., Briana, Ashley, Alexis, Tony, Vinny, Nicholas and Ryan; and great-grandchildren Amanda, Bishop and Gia.
Services will take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 8:45 AM from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 1225 Green St. (at Cooper Ave.) Iselin, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Helena's RC Church in Edison, interment will follow at Cloverleaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation is Monday from 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Cecelia's RC Church 45 Wilus Way Iselin, NJ 08830.

I feel like I lost a soul partner and second mother, she is on my mind of often, I can see.her smile. Thank you Aunt Helen and miller family for all you have been. In my life. I know it is difficult letting go, but noon one wants, to see their mom suffer. She is at peace.

Aunt Helen was an amazing woman and human being. She was a saint to me. She had an amazing smile and brought joy into all of our lives. The memories of Aunt Helen and Uncle Bill and family over the years will always be in my heart. As a child until this day, I always looked forward to seeing Aunt Helen and the Millers'. She was like a second mom to me, she will be greatly missed and always remembered for her compassion, thoughtfulness, her insight and the incredible joy of being graced by her presence.
