Henry Clemens Obituary
AGE: 76 • Lake Ariel
Henry H. Clemens, 76, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Mr. Clemens was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in North Plainfield since 1997, before moving with his son Robert's home in Lake Ariel, PA. He was a Pension Plan Auditor for the IRS out of the Brooklyn Office. Henry served in the United States Army, was a member of St. Luke's RC Church in North Plainfield, and a member of the North Plainfield Seniors where he served as their Treasurer.
Surviving are 2 sons, Robert and wife Tori Clemens of Lake Ariel, PA, and Christopher Clemens of CA, 2 daughters, Lisa Ann and husband Karl Krusher of Kingston, NY, and Patti Ann and husband Vance Monz of Kingston, NY. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, RJ, Sammy, Bryan and Jessica.
Services will start Friday 10a.m. from the Scarpa Funeral Home 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield, followed by an 11a.m. Mass at St. Luke's RC Church in North Plainfield. Burial will be at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge. Visiting hours will be Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. In 1973 I visited the family of Henry H. Clemens and his mother Mrs. Helen Clemens. It was a wonderful time. My mother Helene Kassens , born as Kleinhaus, was the cousin of your grandmother Helen Clemens . For many years your father Henry H. Clemens sent me a Christmancard and I collected them all. I`m so thankfull.
We will love and miss you always.

Here at Henry's parish of St. Luke's R.C. Church we knew Henry as a kind and generous man who served us well as a volunteer collection counter. He was accurate, dependable and most enjoyable with his dry sence of humor. We missed him when he relocated to Lake Ariel and still speak of him fondly. He will be missed.
