AGE: 91 • Manchester
Herbert Kuskin 91, of Leisure Ridge, Manchester died Sunday, February 5, at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood. Born in Newark, he lived for most of his life in Oceanside, NY, before moving to Manchester 27 years ago. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. He later graduated from NYU with his Accounting degree. He began his career as an Accountant with Great Eastern Supermarkets on Long Island . He later was employed for 28 years for Hills Supermarkets, Brentwood, before retiring as Senior Vice President. He was a member of B'nai Brith, Oceanside. He is survived by his loving wife, Molly (Brownstein) Kuskin, 2 sons and their wives, Mark and Kim Kuskin , Robert and Christine all living in Los Angeles, CA., a brother, Jerry Kuskin of Sarasota, FL, 3 grandchildren, Jake, Dylan, and Ashley, and 3 step-grandsons, Kevin, Alan, and Anthony. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Mt Ararat Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
