Irene Vertes Obituary
AGE: 93 • Fords
Irene Vertes, 93, of Fords, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mrs. Vertes was born in Fords and had lived all of her life in Fords. She was employed as a seamstress with Braunstien Associates for ten years and Maiden Form in Perth Amboy for twenty five years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.
Irene was predeceased by her parents and husband John N. Vertes in 2004, five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son, John J. Vertes of Fords and three nieces.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 3 - 6 pm. To leave online condolences, please visit mitruskafuner alhome.com.
