Jack Mesquita, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, at Vassar Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Burial was Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 in Highland, N.Y. Memorial donations can be made to Jack Mesquita Scholarship Fund, c/o Athletic Office, Highland High School, 320 Pancakehollow Road, Highland, NY 12528.

How could anyone not love Mr. Mesquita? He always had an infectious smile with a hearty "hello" in the "wings" of HHS. Definitely one of Highland High School's finest ! He will be greatly missed ~ My deepest sympathy to his entire family and community.

Jack was my vice-principle 83-87. He and Mary-Ann were neighbors to my mother. He will be sorely missed in Highland.

Jack was a great guy.. I use to talk to him back when i was in highschool while waiting for the bus... He will be missed..
