Keith, Eileen, and family:
We were all saddened to hear of your dad's passing. The Delahunts knew The Huylebroecks from so many of the Houlihan family events over the years. And a never ending newsline from Laurie.
When Anne passed it had to have been a terrible blow to all of you, but most especially for your dad. Your parents were like our parents-loving, dedicated to family and each other, but with a special bond as husband and wife. How many couples can say that they were partners in marriage AND a skating ring? And I'm sure there were many other things non-family members never even knew about!
I will always remember the photos of them on skates. We girls thought they were so cool, and so special to have been able to work, play, and love together like that. Again, not many couples get that chance.
In order to raise such thoughtful, loving children, they had to be that way themselves. We know that you will miss your dad terribly-83 is still way too young. But now, he's with your mom. That has to make him happiest! And be a comfort you in your grief.
Love from the Delahunts:
-Margaret, Joan Marie, Suzanne, Michele,Meg, and Bob, who you probably never met.
