James Lynch Obituary
Somerset - 81, passed away October 3, 2018.
James was born in Astoria, Queens on July 27, 1937, he was the son of the late James J. Lynch and Winifred Dillon. James was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School class of 1955 in Cambria Heights, NY. He was employed as a manager at AT&T in Bedminster for 43 years, retiring in 2002. James was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. James was a member of the Somerset County Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Patricks Division. 1. He helped teach Irish Ceili dancing lessons and enjoyed volunteering his time to their many charitable programs. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was a beloved husband of Bernardine (nee Gormley) and devoted father of John (Suzanne Barry), Thomas (Liz Johnson), Kevin (Christina Nix), Robert (Katy Collins), Daniel (Carole Misticawi). Dear Grandfather of John, Colin, Kaitlyn, Declan, Allyson, Ryan, Michaela, Christopher, Brenden, Daniel, Paige, Kourtney & Dominic. Brother of Peter (Roberta Greeno).
Prayers will be said 9am Monday at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave, Somerville followed by a 10am mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
Visitation will be 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Bernie and boys, my heartfelt condolences to you all. Jim was a great man and I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved you all unconditionally and will continue to be with you in mind, heart and soul until you meet again.
As Willie Nelson's new song states "you don't get over it you get through it". Give it a listen sometime.
