JANE M. NOONE KOVIC
AGE: 76 KEANSBURG
Jane M. Noone Kovic, 76, of Keansburg, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at home. Born and lived in Jersey City, she moved to Keansburg 51 years ago. Jane was an administrative assistant for the Keansburg Housing Authority for 13 years, retiring in 1997. She was a communicant of the Church of St. Ann and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
She was predeceased by her husband, John G. Kovic, in 1984. Surviving are her children, John G. Kovic of Hazlet, Mary Beth and Richard Conte of Highlands, Jane Ellis of New York City, Donald Kovic of Las Vegas, Nev., and Patricia Kovic of Keansburg; her brothers, Albert "Buddy" and Lucille Noone of Hazlet, and Donald and Rosemarie Noone of Westfield; a sister, Sister Peggy Noone, R.S.M. of Middletown; and three grandchildren, Thomas Conte, Bernadette Conte, and Joseph Lagville.
Visiting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 at Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel Ave., West Keansburg. The funeral will be at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at the funeral home, followed by a 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Ann. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
