JOHN E. BECHTLE
AGE: 60 WESTFIELD
John E. Bechtle, 60, died Saturday (Nov. 8, 2008) at Robert Wood Johnson at Rahway. John was born in Summit and lived in Westfield.
John was a mechanic by trade and served as a mechanic during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the Westfield American Legion Post No. 3.
He was predeceased by his parents, John J. and Lillian L. Bechtle; and his brother, George J. Bechtle.
Surviving John are his sisters, Carol Roehrich, Diane Sawyer and her husband, Art; brothers, William Roehrich and wife, Carol, and Frank Bechtle and wife, Donna; and his nieces and nephews, William and Robin Roehrich, Dan, Lacey and Kristin Sawyer, James and Frankie Bechtle.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Arrangements are by Rossi Funeral Home, Scotch Plains.
