John Flannery Obituary
AGE: 94 • Monroe Twp.
John J. Flannery, 94 of Monroe Twp. died Monday September 21st at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born in the Bronx, NY, Mr. Flannery lived in Ramsey, NJ for 31 years before moving to the Clearbrook community in Monroe Twp. in 1987 and then the Monroe Village community 2 months ago. He was employed for 25 years as a salesman for the Allied Chemical Co., Morristown, retiring in 1985.
Mr. Flannery was predeceased by his sister Ellen Flannery. Surviving are his wife of 66 years Constance Dolce, his four sons Stephen P. and his wife Kathleen of Moorestown, John C. and his wife Dorothy of Elmwood Park, William P. of Ridgefield Park and Thomas J. and his wife Susan of Ramsey, eight grandchildren Bridget Collins, Meghan Amacher, Courtney Kauffman, Kristin Zaharuk, Michael Flannery, Jennifer Donde and Peter and Kate Flannery and six great grandchildren.
A funeral liturgy will be held at 9 a.m. Friday September 25 at Queenship of Mary RC Church, 19 Dey Rd., Plainsboro. Interment of Mr. Flannery's ashes will follow at Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg.
