My condolences to all of the family. I worked with John sometimes when he was substituting. Always loved seeing him around. He could always be counted on, and I loved when he was in for me. He held the students accountable. More than that, though, John was a great person, and I enjoyed chatting with him. He is definitely going to be missed. Rest in peace my friend...

I remember John as my student and then as a family member of my friends Mary and Bob Lynch. So sad to hear of his passing and send my deepest sympathy to his wife, Barbara, and his children, Jennifer and Christopher. You are in my prayers. Elaine Turk

I'm a student at PAHS and I didn't know him that well, but he would sub often for my classes and I remember one time my table was having girl scout cookies and he came over and talked to us a bit and we shared our cookies with him. I think that will be one of my favorite days he subbed for my class. He really was apart of the Perth Amboy High experience. May he rest in peace.

My condolences go out to Mr. Ls loved ones. I had him as a substitute numerous times throughout my 12 years of schooling in Perth Amboy. He was always nice and cared about the students. He will definitely be missed.
