John (Jack) L.

AGE: 77 • Highland Park

John (Jack) L Trautwein, 77, passed away on Sunday August 30, 2015 at his residence in North Brunswick. He was born and raised in Dunellen before moving to Highland Park where he raised his family. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 408 in Union, he drove for Peoples Express in Newark before his retirement in 1994. He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corp.

Surviving are his son Jack Trautwein and his daughter Diane Finer; his brothers Tom and Robert; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held Friday, September 4, 2015, 11AM at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel in Piscataway followed by interment of cremains. Arrangements are under the direction of the Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gary Sinise Foundation for wounded warriors.

Jack words can't express how heartbroken I feel with your passing. We had so much fun. Ocean City, Wildwood, keansburg & New Years eves at my mothers. You were my mothers closest male friend. She's at a loss right now. Save barstool up there for me!
