Joseph S. "Joe" Kubitz

AGE: 78 • Bridgewater

Joseph S. "Joe" Kubitz, 78, died October 6, 2014. Joe was born and raised in Hazelton, PA and was formerly of Raritan before moving to Bridgewater in 1957. He was employed as a drywall installer for over 40 years at Drywall Tapers and Finishers in Clifton, retiring in 1998. He was a communicant of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be sadly missed by all.

He is predeceased by his son Joseph in 1996. Surviving are his devoted wife of 60 years, Betty Kubitz, his daughters Kathleen Lunghi and her husband John and Mary Sheinman, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11am Tuesday October 14, 2014 a St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater. Arrangements by Bruce C VanArsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.
