Joseph Matura Obituary
AGE: 67 • Woodbury, NY
Joseph D. Matura died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, NY after a valiant struggle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was 67. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and lived in Parlin, NJ before moving to Woodbury, NY. He was the owner of Designed Floors, Inc.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret "Peggy" Matura. Surviving are his beloved wife, Susan; his son, Joey and Rebecca Matura of Syosset, NY and his daughter, Alison and David Cohen, of Roslyn, NY. His adored grandchildren; Logan and Blake Matura; Jake and Emily Cohen. Also, his sister, Denice Hogan of Sayreville, NJ.
Donations can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation, (lustgarten.org) in his memory. A memorial mass will be held at 11am on June 15 at St. Stanislous Kostka RC Church, Sayreville. Please join us in our tribute to Joseph's life. Letters of condolence may be left for his family at www.spezzifuner alhome.com
