Joseph F. Patrick

AGE: 84 • East Brunswick

Joseph F. Patrick, died Monday, May 2, 2011, at The Elms of Cranbury. He was 84. Born in South River, he resided in New Brunswick before moving to East Brunswick sixty one years ago. Prior to retiring in 1989, he was self-employed as a general contractor for 39 years. A WWII Navy veteran, he served aboard the USS Franklin from 1944-1947. He was a communicant of St. Stephen's R.C. Church in South River and past president of St. Stephen's Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Frances Herbst Patrick; and two sisters, Irene Goldstein of Monroe Township, and Mary Nenniger of North Carolina.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 5 at The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Funeral services will be held at 8:15 a.m Friday, May 6 in the funeral home, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen's R.C. Church, South River. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. For directions, please visit www.brunswickmemorialhome.com.
