Joseph Riccadonna Obituary
South Plainfield - Joseph N. Riccadonna, 87, died on Friday, December 7, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Mr. Riccadonna settled to South Plainfield in 1959.
A Veteran of the United States Air Force, Joe proudly served his country from 1952 - 1956. He was a member of the South Plainfield VFW Post 6763 and was also a member of the South Plainfield Elks Lodge 2298.
Mr. Riccadonna was a Harley Davidson enthusiast but more importantly he loved spending time with his family.
Predeceased by a granddaughter, Lee Ann Riccadonna, Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Carmela; daughters, Joyce Leiter and her husband Ken of Ohio and Ann Riccadonna Russo of Little Egg Harbor; sons, Joseph and his wife Eugenia of Warren and David of South Plainfield and grandchildren, Derrek and Sabrina Leiter, Nicole and Joseph Riccadonna, Tony Kolvites and Michael Russo.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 9:15am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. followed by a 10am funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.
Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, South Plainfield.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-9pm in the funeral home.
