Joseph Sabo Obituary
AGE: 70 • Carteret
Joseph S. Sabo 70, of Carteret, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at home. He was born in Rahway and was a life-long resident of Carteret. Joseph was a retired Sayreville Middle School Teacher. He was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish-Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church in Carteret, a member of the Knights of Columbus Carey Council 1280 of Carteret and a member of the Carteret Elks BPO # 2235.
Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna and his brother, Thomas. He is survived by his two daughters, Vicki Sabo and Randi Sabo; his brother, James Sabo and several nephews and cousins.
The Funeral will be on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue in Carteret. Mass will be at 10 AM at Divine Mercy Parish-Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church in Carteret, with Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visiting hours will be on Friday, from 5 PM to 8 PM. The K of C ritual will be held at 7:30 PM.

Mr. Sabo was such a great man and wonderful friend to our family, and my father. He was also a well respected teacher in Sayreville. He drove me to school every day for a year when I moved to Carteret from Sayreville. Our deepest condolences. The Pszczola Family (Lauren & Walter (Cookie))

One of my favorite teachers of all time. I was telling my kids the other day that he was one teacher I would've liked to have stayed in touch with. So sorry to hear about his passing.
