Dear Aunt Edith and Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear Great-Uncle Joseph passed away. I know how difficult this must be for you and a whole family. Great-Uncle Joseph was such a kind, gentle person who would do anything to help someone in need. His blue eyes were always full of kindness, compassion and joy; his heart filled with love and arms strong and ready to support. That is how I will remember Great-Uncle Joseph. I wish I could bring him the flowers from his motherland which he loved and kept dried up between the pages of the old book and I wish I could gather the right words to make your pain less and offer some comfort. We know that sorrows are like ripples, they come and go on the surface of our existence but recollections will remain forever. May you find peace and love in the memories of good times spent together.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Edith and Family,
When I think of Joe I see him smiling and laughing and of course making potato soup. He was very young in those days, having arrived from Europe. We thought he was an artist....he painted our bedroom with stripes....
We shall remember him fondly.
I send condolences and love from the Ted Kleban Family.
