JOSEPH VRABEL
AGE: 83 WOODBRIDGE
Joseph Vrabel, 83, of Woodbridge, died Thursday (Dec. 18, 2008) in Woodbridge. Born in Edison, he resided in Woodbridge for the last 65 years.
He owned and operated the High Hill Garage in Woodbridge for many years. He enjoyed his many trips to Atlantic City.
He was predeceased by his late wife, Marian Vrabel, who died in 2005; five late brothers, Mike, John, George, Paul and Frank Vrabel; and two late sisters, Anne Kutsuflakis and Betty Vrabel.
Surviving are a brother, Steve Vrabel and his wife, Rose, of South Amboy; brother-in-law, Mike Melles of Woodbridge, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, from Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery in Perth Amboy. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21. For directions or to send condolence messages, visit www.flynnfuneral.com.

Joe was a great mentor! He taught me how to do auto body work when I was 17 Years old! I made a career of it and retired at the age of 64. He was a good friend of my parents. I enjoyed going hunting with him. I will truly miss him.
