Josephine Ann Balazik of Dunellen, passed away peacefully on Monday October 17, 2016 at Haven Hospice in Edison NJ with her loving family by her side.

Josephine lived in Dunellen all her life, the last 69 years with her loving husband Alex J Balazik, Jr. She was employed by Verizon for nearly 28 years. Josephine enjoyed visiting her family in Georgia, Alabama, and Delaware. She enjoyed cooking and tending to her gardens. She was a parishioner of St John's Church in Dunellen for 70 years. Josephine was a great role model for all of her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Josephine is survived by her loving husband Alex J Balazik, Jr of Dunellen, her beloved children, son Alex J Balazik III and wife Martha of Suwanee, GA, daughter Barbara Bigler of Laurel, DE. She's also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Rachel Stockard and husband Brian of Vestavia Hills, AL, Brian Balazik of Chelsea, AL and Rebecca Kurth and husband Darren of Alpharetta, GA; her adored great-grandchildren Brian Bo Stockard, Jr, and Alexandra Stockard, Mackenzie and Jacob Kurth as well as by her sisters, Ann Merlino of Sun City, AZ and Pauline Yarusi of Edison, NJ.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. John's Catholic Church in Dunellen, NJ.
