Kim Uvenio Memoriam
HEARTFELT THANK YOU FROM THE FAMILY OF
Kim Horas Uvenio
At this time our family would like to thank all of those who were so generous and helpful to us during the loss of our sister, Kim. We are overwhelmed and beyond thankful for all the love and support we have received the past few weeks, it never went unnoticed. A sincere thank you to all our friends and family- too many to mention- for the beautiful flowers, providing us with meals, generously helping us to decorate the tables at the memorial, donating all the desserts, beverages and supplies needed at the memorial, consoling us, and helping us with whatever we needed. There are not enough words to express the amount of love we have for all of you.
Kim's memorial was an amazing celebration of her life surrounded by the people she loved. We would like to extend a special thank you for the joint efforts of the North Branch Volunteer Fire Co., who generously donated the outstanding food provided by Sorella's, and the Whitehouse Station Fire Co. for generously donating their firehouse and setting up everything beautifully. The firehouses represented the community in a loving and generous way and our family is grateful. Everyone's help and contributions made this a beautiful and positive atmosphere for this sorrowful occasion.
We would also like to thank everyone for their generosity in donating to Sal and Loretta's GoFundMe page and the Uvenio Children Trust Fund, where all funds will be used for the health, maintenance and support of Sal and Loretta as they continue on in their life. We are truly touched by your generosity.
Finally, as we go on with our lives, we are reminded that Kim did for others before herself. With that being said we have no answers to the why of her tragic loss, but we would like to encourage everyone to be reminded that mental disorders and domestic violence are common and widespread. If you are or anyone you know are in either of these situations, please remember that there is hope and help - reach out to family members, friends, doctors, your local community - do not ignore it as it does not go away by itself.
