Highlands
Laura Rose Mendes, 67 of Atlantic Highlands passed away on February 13, 2015 at Riverview Medical Center. She was born in Irvington, NJ. Laura was a longtime cancer survivor, she was loved by many.
Laura was predeceased by her father, Hugo Grenci.
Surviving are her mother, Henrietta Grenci; sons, John and Jason Mendes; daughters-in-law, Margaret and Tracey; daughter, Lisa Mendes-Ardic; sisters, Lucille Tamburri and Linda Kabis; 6 grandchildren, Jamie, Dylan, Demi, Kailyn, Cody and Marisa and 2 great-grandchildren, Jamie Jr. and Dylan Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
