AGE: 89 • Spotswood

Letitia Elizabeth Casey, 89, of Spotswood, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Born in Jersey City and raised in Roselle, Betty settled in Spotswood in 1959. She retired in 1993 from Carter-Wallace of Cranbury after 27 years of service. She was a member of the Spotswood Seniors and she enjoyed gardening, taking care of her pets, watching the NY Yankees and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Lee Casey and his wife Sharon, of Spotswood and Scott Casey of Helmetta; her sister, Lois Nemec of Spotswood; her grandchildren, Stephen Casey and his wife Karyl and Sean Casey and his wife Tamara, and; her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Victoria, Allison and Matthew Casey.

Funeral services will begin at 10:45am Friday from Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood, followed by interment in Reformed Church Cemetery, Spotswood. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Betty's memory may be made to the NJ Veteran's Memorial Home at Menlo Park, 132 Evergreen Road, Edison, NJ 08837.
